    For those who have
    Drone Show Software
    and Finale 3D
    licenses

    If you have the Drone Show Software and Finale 3D licenses, create your pyro show in Finale 3D, create 3D animation* in Drone Show Creator, Blender or Cinema 4D, then upload path files to Drone Show Software Path Viewer, export VVIZ file and finally import VVIZ file into Finale 3D. Send your final project using the Competition application form, consisting of the links to the video preview and .fin file for the Finale 3D project.


    * For the final project you can also use the 3D animation that you have already created for other projects








    IMPORTANT:

    Before you start preparing a project and an application for this nomination send the request to receive a Path Viewer with the VVIZ export option to competition@ugcs.com.

    For those who have
    Drone Show Software
    but don’t have Finale 3D license

    If you have the Drone Show Software and don’t have the Finale 3D license, then request the Finale 3D Pro license from the Competition partners (support@finale3d.com), and according to "how to...", which is below, create your pyro show in Finale 3D. After that create 3D animation* in Drone Show Creator, Blender or Cinema 4D, then upload path files to Drone Show Software Path Viewer, export VVIZ file and finally import VVIZ file into Finale 3D. Send your final project using the Competition application form, consisting of the links to the video preview and .fin file for the Finale 3D project.


    * For the final project you can also use the 3D animation that you have already created for other projects

    Finale 3D but don’t have
    Drone Show Software license

    If you have the Finale 3D and don’t have the Drone Show Software license, then send us a request to download the Drone Show Creator, and according to video guidelines, create your first drone show animation (Blender or Cinema 4D softwares can be used as well) and send the DSS Creator .show file, .blend file. or .c4d file. to the Competition team (competition@ugcs.com).

    Then we will be able to send you back the VVIZ file. After that import VVIZ file into your pyro show in Finale 3D. Send your final project using the Competition application form, consisting of the links to the video preview and .fin file for the Finale 3D project.






    IMPORTANT:

    Before you start preparing a project and an application for this nomination send the request to receive the Drone Show Creator (if you don’t use Blender or Cinema 4D) to competition@ugcs.com.

How can a contestant get a free Finale 3D Pro license for the duration of the Competition?
To activate a license, the Finale support team needs the email address for your Finale 3D account. If you already have an account, send a license request to support@finale3d.com and include the email address associated with your account in the body of the email.If you don’t have a Finale 3D account, please follow these steps:

  1. Download and install the latest release of Finale 3D.
  2. Launch the Finale 3D software on your computer, then click ‘Create account’ and follow the instructions.
  3. Send an email to support@finale3d.com and include the email address associated with your account in the body of the email.
